Time changed on Subscription
Hello,
I just installed the trial version of the plugin (2.7.3) using Jira 6.0.8 installed
Q1. I go to Issues -> Timesheet Subscriptions -> Timesheet Report and I change the date/field configuration as I want it to have results displayed. I enter a Start Date and I get the results I want. I click then on Subscribe.
After that step, I go again to Issues -> Timesheet Subscriptions and when I click "Preview" i see that the Start Date is changing and the results are therefore different from the ones I had before. For example if I enter Start date 30/12/2013 , after the date changes to 1/1/2014 so no results are displayed. Any suggestions?
- Also, can I get help on how can I have multiple users subscribing to the same result i have displayed?

Hi,
Problem is that subscription is based on End Date, and it derives number of weeks from displayed report. In your case it's 0, so logic is broken. As workaround please try selecting End Date only.
It uses End Date as Reporting Day, similarly to Timesheet Gadget, and sends email on this day, including data back in time. Even though email sending schedule can be changed, Reporing Day - the End point of the view window is not changed.
Note, it is not yet possible to subscribe other users or group.

Thank you.

reporter thanks for your quick response. I tried to select Start Date only (31/12/2013) and End Date = null. End Date was successfully set to Current Date, but Start Date went from 31/12/2013 -> 1/1/2014. If Start Date hadnt been changed I would have the results I wanted (current date). If I select End date only as you previously suggested, the last week is set as stated in the Configure screen. Any further advice/solution could be helpful thx in advance

May be you could tell me what are you trying to achieve? Because Timesheet Email is NOT designed to send worked hours in future, only in the past. So End Date determines the day of the week from which to start to look back one or more weeks.

Note, version 2.7.4 is released with enforcing at least 1 week used as time period.
