Add possibility to display in the report open issues regardless of time reported

I would like to be able to decide if all open issues are displayed in the timesheet report and gadget regardless if in the given displayed period is already any time reported on in or not. Currently only issues with reported time are displayed. The goal is to allow quick time reporting from timesheet gadget.

It is possible. Please see In Progress Issues plugin configuration option in Administration - Add-ons - Timesheet Configuration.

I already looked at it and.. the problem is we have planty statuses in the workflow, it is not the only 'In progress', btw in the In Progress Issues what exactly JQL is? A filter that should be pointed in the "Show summary for project or filter" timesheet gadget config?

It depends on how you define 'open issues'. You can use 'status not in (Closed, Done)', or anything else. Using Filter option, it allows to be define per gadget.

It worked. I had to mark "In Progress Issues - Use gadget filter option" in the Timesheet Configuration. It is not quite obvious.
