Gadget broken : labels not displayed and impossible to see the widget on dashboard

Hello,

I got the JIRA 7.3.0 update last week and the timesheet gadget worked pretty good after that.

But this morning it stopped working.

Here are 2 screenshots : the first is the gadget on the Dashboard. It can not be modified anymore. I checked my licence of timesheet and jira, they are still correct.

I then tried to add a new gadget : "MSG_gadget.project.pivot.title" (the name does not show anymore).

But it is not the same as before (i had the day on the horizontal axe, now I only have the name of my colleagues). I guess this is pivot and not timesheet but timesheet is not proposed anymore in my list of gadgets.

When I configure it it seems broken : see second screenshot.

How can I fix it? Get the old gadget? When I go to timesheet via Agile boards > reports, it works normally.

Please not I did not try to uninstall and reinstall the extension, because I feared to lose my reporting data.

Will the data remain after reinstall? Thanks

Hi Mathieu,

You can safely reinstall, data will remain. Please make sure you install 3.0.x version.

Also you may need to Load All Gadgets when you try to add gadget to dashboard, to see Timesheet gadget.

Hello Andriy, thanks for your answer !

Infortunately it did not work : - I deleted the gadgets from my dashboard - I uninstalled Timesheet - Reinstalled - Tried to add new gadget (used the button to load all gadgets)

=> When I filter the list on "andriy" I only get 2 gadgets : "projectPivot" and "Timechart"

I guess I should have a third one "timesheet" isn't it? My version of timesheet installed is "3.0.7.7", license still valid until march.

Hi Mathieu,

Yes, there should be Timesheet also. May be JIRA restart can help. Please make sure there is no old version of timesheet plugin in JIRA HOME, e.g. with: $find -name jira-timesheet-plugin*.jar JIRA_HOME

Thanks a lot ! I did not have any old version, but the restart of server simply worked !

However I still have the problem of not having any label in my configuration interface but it is not only for your gadget, the agile board gadget has the same problem.

Do you know how I could fix it?

Hi Mathieu,

Sorry, I have no idea why labels are not shown. May be you can open support ticket with Atlassian for the other standard gadget for which labels are not shown.
