Timesheet gadget is non-editable JIRA 7.3.1

We are in the process of upgrading JIRA to v7.3.1 and have installed v3.0.7.7 of the Timesheet Reports and Gadgets plugin. Unfortunately the gadget is non-editable when added to a dashboard. Not sure what we have missed here. On JIRA 6.4.12 we have v2.8.3.3 of the Timesheet gadget plugin and that works absolutely fine.

I have attached screen shots of both how the gadget looks when added to the dashboard and also the details of the installed plugins.

Your assistance on this matter is highly appreciated.

Is it newly added gadget? Do you have permission to modify gadgets on dashboard? I don't see any drop-down menu in the top-right corner on your screenshot.

Thank you for your response. Since my comment a few days ago, we have tested the gadgets again and we can now see the edit option under the drop down. The problem is that it takes 3 to 4 minutes to load the gadget to be able to add filters/data. This is an issue for us as our users cannot wait for so long. Can you please advise if we can do anything to speed up the process from our end. Also, i noticed that 'Months' is misspelled as 'monts' on the gadget ![Spelling error.PNG]. Hi Bhavi,

Low performance may be caused by big number of filters. If so, in version 3.0.8, it's now possible to configure Filter parameter to show only Favorite Filters, see Administration - Add-ons - Timesheet Configuration - Use Favorite Filters option.

Hello there, we are seeing probably the same issue, once we add the gadgets (both pivot and timesheet) they are just blank, sometimes they will show the editing options, but no upper small icons appear. Plugin version - 2.9.8.4 - tested version 3 on a test environment and worked fine - JIRA is 6.3.13

It's performance problem, might be caused by big number of Filters, please try turning on Show Favorite Filters option in Administration - Add-ons - Timesheet Configuration.

We went ahead and turned on the option, now we see the missing options and the gadget is not blank, but this only happens for certain users, there are some users that still see this issue, do you have any other suggestion, I would really appreciate it.

Could you please check, whether users having this problem do have too many filters, or they just need to reconfigure gadget?

One of the users tested have's 61 favorites and 45 owned, that's not a whole bunch, this user still has the blank gadget.

Hi Hernan,

Looks like response from JIRA server is interrupted, may be because of timeout, so JavaScript fails.

May be you could check JIRA log also, if there is any error.

Finally, may be the user could try to reduce number of favorite filters to see if it helps.
