Need help for customization of plugin version 3.0.8.3 for filter option

Hi Andriy,

We are upgrading JIRA from version 6.4.12 to version 7.2.8. Currently we are using plugin "JIRA Timesheet Reports and Gadgets Plugin" version 2.8.2.7-JRA-32510 with JIRA 6.4.12. In this plugin version 2.8.2.7-JRA-32510 you had done a customization according to our need which is captured in the support request "https://bitbucket.org/azhdanov/jiratimesheet/issues/606/data-of-other-users-are-getting-displayed". We are now upgrading JIRA to version 7.2.8 and for this we are using "JIRA Timesheet Reports and Gadgets Plugin" version 3.0.8.3. We have below requirement for "Configure - Project Pivot Report" and "Configure - Timesheet Report" screens for this plugin version 3.0.8.3.

1. We do not need Filter drop down option as we faced performance issue there. So rather than we need text box option for Filter (As we can see in the screenshot "filter_text_box_Timesheet-2.8.2.7-JRA-32510.png" of current production instance with plugin version 2.8.2.7-JRA-32510) for the "JIRA Timesheet Reports and Gadgets Plugin" version 3.0.8.3
2. Also the Inline message should be "(Optional) Specify exact filter name to display report on."

Can you please make the above two changes for us in the plugin version 3.0.8.3? This is blocking our production JIRA upgrade, so this issue is blocker for us. Your quick attention on this will be very much helpful for us.

Could you please clarify if you have tried GA 3.0.8.3 version on JIRA 7.2.8 and it has same problem? I think there should not be there such problem.

Thanks for your quick response. We can try for GA 3.0.8.3 version. Bur still we need these changes for us.

2. The value in "Filter" text field should accept Filter Name rather than Filter ID.

Please try GA 3.0.8.3. Because requirements you list are solely for the problem mentioned in the 1st requirement, that may be not happening anymore.

I am not able to find the GA 3.0.8.3. There is no GA 3.0.8.3 version available at marketplace https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/jira-timesheet-plugin/versions.

Sorry for confusion, I just meant 3.0.8.3. GA stands for Generally Available, opposite to custom build.

We have upgraded this plugin to version 3.0.8.3 for JIRA 7.2.8 on test environment and we are still facing the slowness issue. Screenshots filter_drop_down_Timesheet-3.0.8.3.png and timesheet-3.0.8.3.png. That is the reason we want this customization. Please consider this customization.

Hi Reetesh,

Additionally since version 3.0.8, it's now possible to configure Filter parameter to show only Favorite Filters, see Administration - Add-ons - Timesheet Configuration - Use Favorite Filters option. It should help significantly.
