Well, I think it's the matter of rounding.
When you sum up individually rounded values you get different result than rounded sum of not rounded values.
Sorry, it took it so long.
-
reporter at what point do they get rounded?
-
Every individual value displayed is rounded to
Maximum Fraction Digits
configured in add-on configuration, or 2 by default.Note, timespent in JIRA has 1 minute precision, even though is stored in seconds, but in report it's displayed in hours (rounded).
-
reporter I am afraid you have a bug then. Each individual value in Total column is rounded to "Maximum Fraction Digits " but the Grand Total (bottom right value) does not represent the sum of rounded Totals, but is getting rounded AFTER the grand total is calculated. This problem was highlighted by excel export - if you sum up each individual rounded total, it will not match the grand total.
-
Consider you pay $1 per hour, would you pay sum of rounded values?
-
reporter ok I agree - please close the ticket. The lost rounding information on export is confusing though, you may want to do something about it.

- changed status to resolved
There is Total row, exactly for this.
