[TIME-122] Install is not successful, no error messages

I have downloaded the JIRA Timesheet Plugin v2. I shut down our instance of JIRA, and loaded this to the plugin system two directory for install. Restarting JIRA, there is no sign of this plugin in the project summary/reports menu, or in gadgets; there is no entry in the System/Plugins menu in Administration; and going into the directory shows the jar file with a lock on the icon.

Initially I had thought perhaps the plugin system was incorrect and tried it in the system one directory, but nothing changed.

I have rebooted my browser, and removed the file and reinstalled, but there is no change.

Any suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I had followed the instructions on that page. Hence the installing to both applicable directories to see if it was an issue with the version. It was still not successful.

In the 3 months since I originally posted this query I have installed minyaa and had great success with it, and their support is prompt and helpful. I will be using their solution from here on in.
