[TIME-36] Column totals are always "0h"

Issue #36 resolved
Andriy Zhdanov created an issue

While updating JIRA from 3.11 to 3.12.1, we also updated the timesheet plugin from 1.7 to 1.8. After doing this, we found that the column totals are broken – they're always "0h".

Problem seems to be the update from 3.11 to 3.12.1 because we are facing the same problem since then.

Hm, I have not seen this problem with plugin v. 1.7 and Jira v. 3.12.1, although I do with 1.8 and trying to fix it.

Well, I've fixed, probably a bit different problem, for me the totals row (thus and master total column) was always 0h in timesheet report only in v.1.8.

    Please check updated plugin 1.8.

We are running Jira 3.11 and we see this problem with version 1.8. However, it only seems to report 0h when you run the report on a single user. If I run the report on a whole group it seems to display the totals correctly.

    Hi Quynh,

It is actually r.16030 at http://svn.atlassian.com/svn/public/contrib/jira/jira-timesheet-plugin/ (without trunk), there in jars/ you may find jars of all available versions, but usually I assume you just re-download 1.8.jar from http://svn.atlassian.com/svn/public/contrib/jira/jira-timesheet-plugin/jars/atlassian-jira-plugin-timesheet-1.8.jar - as the link is provided at the plugin home page: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAEXT/Timesheet+report+and+portlet

Hope it helps, and thank you for your interest in the plugin!

    Hi Matthew,

Unfortunately I can not reproduce the problem for the case when only single user is selected either for Jira 3.12.1 or Jira 3.11, i.e. totals (in rows and columns) are displayed correctly for me for the case when single user is selected. Please make sure you're using latest 1.8.jar (see comment above). Otherwise I'm not sure how to proceed further...

    Hello Andrew Zhdanov,

The problem is already fixed by your updated source code.
    Thank you for your reply.
