Problem with display timesheet reports

Dear Andriy,

Since about week we have problem with Time Sheet Report, after choose "Time Sheet Report Report displaying users worked time sheet over specified period." option in project tab "Summary" we have to wait 5-10minutes (before was 5-10 secs) till empty form will display and we can set periods and other option's.

In addition I can say that we are using JIRA 5.2.11 and our instance is huge, but didn't change this plugin, we just update license but in others plugins.

Hi Andriy,

No, we didn't, but it is little strange because we have over 800 projects, 500k issues, 900 custom field, etc for long time and it stops working just week before... We will try use workaround before we will upgrade our instance to JIRA instance to 6.1.

Note, basing on JRA-32510 it may have been fixed in 6.0.1

Hi Andriy,

I'm from Hubert team. I've check with Atlassian support the issue JRA-32510 and it's all about the groups (more than 10k). We do not have so much groups. We have only 295, so this is not the case.

Could you please somehow investigate our issue? We are paying for the plugin which we cannot use right now.

Hi Pawel,

This is not only groups, it may be projects or fields. Check if any drop down box in the Report Configuration screen has a lot of values. If so you need apply workaround to this field.

Hi Andriy,

I've changed the entries as you mention (all except groups link because we have small number of groups). After change I saved the jar file and loaded the plugin inside our JIRA. Still we have the same issue - so this workaround is not working for us.

Any more ideas?

Hi Pawel,

So if you wait and get this report configuration page loaded, can you please double check there is no drop down list with a lot of values? If there is no such drop down list, may be list-boxes also cause this problem. E.g. Additional Fields field.

I see big dropdowns:

• Project

• Group by Field

• Additional Fields

This is strange because I've modified all entries inside the file as it was described inside workaround.

So you might be editing wrong entries in atlassian-plugin.xml, there are two reports, make sure you edited one for timesheet.

Also, JIRA restart might be needed, usually report configuration is not updated with plugin update.

Hi Andriy,

I've checked on JIRA 6.1 and the problem is not existing there.

We will soon upgrade to JIRA 6.1 to solve the timesheet problem.
