To prohibit / disable inputting a worklog for pointed groups post factum (in days older than pointed count of days ago)

Can it possible to create feature to prohibit / disable inputting a worklog for pointed groups in days older than pointed count of days ago? It may be another one feature in the plugin or as a new plugin. For example, I want that users could not to input work log in old days, older than current week. Because of I pay salary based on work log in the end of month some people can add work hours in the beginning of month (post factum to improve their KPI). So such a feature will enable me to protect from fraud.

I think it's good one, but I'm having difficulties getting how to implement this. If you by any chance have an idea how to add custom validation to JIRA Log Work functionality, please let me know :)

Sorry, closing it for now, as it really does not look feasible to implement within current situation. It would need own worklog management and disabling JIRA standard worklog management.
