Add possibility to call a timesheet report directly via a URL

Issue #743 resolved
ChristopheD created an issue

As a user, Timesheet report is only a part of a flow of monthly reports I do where everything is aggregated at the end in a (big) Excel file.

Having therefore the possibility to directly access the right report (the web results, or excel result) via a URL containing the right parameters avoids potential mistakes and makes the usage more efficient.

    Hi Christophe,

This is not feasible to implement yet, but I will try to work with Atlassian in March probably and see if it will be ever possible.

    Thank you.

+1. Hadn't added this to my list of regressions. It's yet another thing that was possible with the old report. If you regularly run reports for different projects that would save a lot of time.

BTW, did you know that you can save desired configuration in add-on itself? Just mouse over the title of report (e.g. Timesheet), click it to edit, specify your name, and save. Then you should see your saved report in Report option drop down on the left.

Really? When I click on the Report dropdown field and type a non-existing Report name, then I just see 'No matches found'.

Oh! Didn't know! It is a little bit hidden. Maybe an icon next to the name would suggest there is something interesting hovering the mouse over that area...

But, anyway, now that #743 has been implemented, and provided that it works for all report types, it seems to be better for me just to bookmark my desired reports.

Btw, does this embedded JIRA into a Bitbucket repo have the chance of connecting through JIRA's normal interface? That way, I could search more efficiently through the issues.

    Right, it needs some highlighting.

As for your last question, sorry I did not get it. This repo does not have embedded JIRA.

I was just wondering whether or not this issue tracking system was based on an underlying JIRA instance. Hehe
