Cannot add time using quick entry window of Time Sheet Gaget

Hello just updated to 2.9.3.9 using Jira v6.4.10

The issue that I am reporting is that the users are no longer able to log work with the quick log of time approach (see screenshot)

Behavior: When you press the "+" button the window opens to log time.

When you try 1m or 1h and press enter .. the hour field shows red and does not continue.

If you use the "more options" it allows the user to enter their time.

Please advise if this is a config issue or something I can further troubleshoot from my side.
