How to reproduce the same behavior of the old Time Sheet gadget?

Issue #763 resolved
Matheus Gorino created an issue

I use Jira Cloud and I was informed by Jira that the Time Sheet add-on is going to be removed by the end of this week. In the same message, Jira suggests the use of the new Time Reports plugin. I tested it but I couldn't reproduce the same functionality I had on the Time Sheet plugin. What I'm looking for is a gadgets that shows me how many hours each people in my team logged by day, so in the rows I would have the username and the columns would be the day of the week. The most near beahvior I could find is add the report type "Timesheet" and group by reporter, but I don't want the reporter, I wanted the user the actually did the worklog. Is this a Bug or a missing functioanlity? I'm attaching an screenshot of the old plugin with the behavior I expected. Thank you.

    Hi Matheus,

You just need to Group By: Worked User.

Note, if you want to hide details, click arrows icon in the middle of the weeks slider.

    Thank you.

    It worked, thanks!

    • if I could suggest an improvement, I think it was better to see the details of the worklog (specific subtasks) on the overlay window - the way it is now makes my report table very large and it is very hard to make sense of the task, reporter and day of the week because of the scrollbars.
