Link from the gadget to the Time Report does not populate the report parameters

Clicking the icon to open the Time Report does not open the report with the same parameters that are being used in the gadget, but instead uses the last parameters that were used in the report. This means you need to re-enter all the parameters used in the gadget, and is particularly annoying when considered in conjunction with the fact that the gadget no longer shows the issue summary, and the report that you might use to generate this info needs to be setup manually.

Gadget shows exactly the same information as report, may be you just need to click Expand Icon (Show details) in gadget to see issue summary?

Ok, I see issue#831 for issue summary problem.

As for the Details link, I have some idea how to solve it, despite of issue#743.

Is this flagged as "won't fix" because there isn't any way to pass parameters to your report component other than to do so by URL?? Surely there must be a way to do this!

Hi, Andriy. I finaly managed to find where the excel icon is as you correctly gave the instructions. However it seems in a bit fuzzy anyway:

1. export happening to the .html format, but is being done without any file name and extension. It says unknown without extension.

2. Gadget is giving error most of the time, but after going into the Options seems working ok:

Export is actually quite the same as in old plugin, it was in html too, but it was possible to pass mime data to let browser handle it properly, now you need to open it in Excel manually, and it will convert it appropriately.

To avoid the error you can specify filter in gadget configuration.
