The gadget is still a lot slower to load than the old one

If I put the old gadget and the new one on the same dashboard and load the page then the old one always loads first.

Understood. Perhaps the change in #832 will address this somewhat, and if not then I can live with the delay until you are able to find a solution. I'm sure this is one issue that will be raised by others for some time to remind you of the need for continual enhancement in this area..

Right, this is major problem that is bothering everybody, but there is no clear way to solve it so far.
