Comment may be truncated when modifying with the gadget

Hi,

here is a situation that seems new to me since version 2.9.5.6.  We upgraded recently from version 2.9.1.1 to 2.9.5.6.

When modifiyng a log information with the short panel, the description is truncated:

If we click immediatly on «more options», we see the full comment and can then modify the time with no problems.

But if we modify the time in the short form, the comment is now truncated for good.

If not new, i would propose an enhancement where only the modified things are changed on the short form.
