Excel view not appearing

When I run a report and select the excel view option the download appears which is fine. However when I click on the download the excel document appears empty with no information

Is this a Jira issue or more an issue my end?

Hi Lauren,

Downloaded document is not an excel actually, but html, however Excel is usually capable to convert it automatically. Could you check the contents of the downloaded file with any simple text editor?
