Time reports shows an invalid format date

Unexpected error Date value '2016-10-16' for field 'worklogDate' is invalid. Valid formats include: 'YYYY/MM/DD', 'YYYY-MM-DD', or a period format e.g. '-5d', '4w 2d'.

Atlassian has created bug: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-62754

However, according to their investigation it happens only for this specific date 2016-10-16, so may be you can change reporting day to Sunday for this week in gadget configuration as workaround.
