How to hide or lock folders in Server2go but still run the program

Anonymous created an issue

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Here's my situation: I have a WordPress site up and running on a USB stick using server2go. It's working beautifully, and I can take that stick to any PC, plug it in and it will run my website with no issues. Now I want to distribute that USB stick to interested parties so that they can view the website from any USB flash drive.

The problem is that I would like to protect the files and folders (maybe just the htdocs folder) from prying eyes. They need to click on server2go.exe in order to launch the site, of course, but how do I prevent them from viewing, moving, opening, editing or deleting the files and folders within my WordPress install?

I really don't want anyone to be able to open those files for proprietary reasons. I just want them to click on the server2go.exe file to launch the browser and view the website, but allow them no other access to any other files or folders. I've tried all the various folder locking utilities out there, but those will only hide and/or password-protect the various folders. And hiding a folder is no good, because then server2go won't even launch and the site won't load since the files are not there.

Any one know of a good way to accomplish what I need here?
