Synchronizing Epic Fields to Story

We are evaluating Sync Fields Plugin, as we need to synchronize field from epics to stories and we are facing an issue here.

We configured the "Epic Story Sync" as one way sync from epic to story for a single project. As issuetypes we selected "Epic" and "Story" to be sure not to miss anything. In this test we try to sync a customfield called Project-ID, which is a select list (single value).

Scenario (not working): 1) Create Story 2) Create Epic + Set Project-ID 3) Edit Story + Add the Epic Link 4) Story does not get the Project-ID from the epic.

Scenario (working): 1) Create Epic + Set Project-ID 2) Create Story " + Set Epic Link on create screen 3) Story does get the Project-ID from the epic.

To me it seems to be bug, as I would expect both scenarios to be working fine.

We have JIRA version 7.2.x and latest version of the plugin (7.2.1).

I think you are using another plugin. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/ru.slie.jira.sync-fields/server/overview <- it's my plugin, but on screenshot I see another plugin
