I would also like to be able to edit MarkDown files at the very least! This is really annoying because I spent money to buy the "pro" version only to find out that I cannot do that.

Agree, I done exactly the same, upgraded to pro to see my private repo expecting to be able to edit sources as I can in GitHub apps. I feel a bit cheated.
