Support for Encrypted S3 Buckets

Our policy is to have encrypted S3 buckets. When I try and apply encryption to the SFTP bucket I find that the SFTPGateway upload sync will not function, and the folders get removed.

Can this be an option in the server configuration to use encrypted buckets?
