Can’t connect to dome after power down

Issue #30 duplicate
Ron Kramer created an issue

So far - I have left the rotator control box powered (always). This is something I had to do with the old software or at times it would not connect. Figuring this problem is gone - I powered down last night. Powered up tonight and SGP can not connect to the dome.

The ASCOM server opens. shows volts. (does not shot shutter position)
sometimes says registered clients 1 sometimes it says 2.

So I rebooted the PC left everything else off and it still would not connect. To see what is going on I loaded Arduino in terminal mode and here is what I’m seeing.

21:44:33.366 -> XB->Start
21:44:38.367 -> XB->WaitAT
21:44:39.366 -> XB->Config
21:44:39.607 -> XB->Detect
21:45:19.603 -> XB->Start
21:45:24.610 -> XB->WaitAT
21:45:25.642 -> XB->Config
21:45:25.882 -> XB->Detect
EDITED as it’s repeating over and over.

    Disconnected Arduino. ASCOME SERVER still says registered clients 1. (online 0)
    clicking connect in SGP it says registered clients 2 (online 0)

    With the old software there was no solution for this. My only solution was to leave power on all night and by the next morning (or the next morning after that) it would usually be connected.
    I then learned (after 2 years) never to power down the rotator. But we loose power a lot here and that’s not always possible.

    Next day could not connect. Today (2nd day) it connected. So it’s acting as it did with the older code.
    Sorry we seem to have 2 issues posted with same xbee connection problem.
