Cannot Get Rotator To Connect To Shutter

Hi Tim,

I now have, basically, a new Rotator unit (sent back to Babak and returned to me) and a new Shutter unit. I have upgraded to the latest ASCOM driver (3.0.1) and uploaded the rotator and shutter files via that “button” on the ASCOM driver. I still cannot connect the two of them?

Should I use that EEPROM.hex file on the Rotator and Shutter files - and then reupload them? Any help will be appreciated.

BTW, in the log I tried connecting at 4:29 PM.

Also, when I got the Rotator unit back from Babak the manual button worked perfectly and I did a full rotation of the dome manually just to see if it worked. After installing the latest ASCOM driver - the button is not working anymore? If I press the manual button it moves about an inch and just stops - also there is a time delay between pressing the button and getting that “inch” of movement.

Reinstalled the files and both manual buttons (rotator/shutter) are working fine. Still cannot connect anything to the dome.

I unchecked the “connect to shutter” box in the ASCOM driver and I am now able to connect to the dome!! Still can’t connect to the shutter? See the pic “progress”
