How to integrate monit with AWS SES using instance profile

Is there a way to send mail in an EC2 using IAM instance profile instead of SMTP credentials? Setting mailserver like this;

set mailserver email-smtp.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com

and attaching the related instance profile to EC2 is not enough, I am getting the error below,

Mail: Mailserver response error -- 530 Authentication required

aws-cli is able to send the emails. Is there a way to use IAM instance profile in monit alert configuration?

No, you need to set credentials for the SMTP.
