monit doesn't recognize poll time of 0 seconds

Issue #122 closed
Former user created an issue

if "set daemon" is set to 0, monit throws the "poll time not defined" error.

This also occurs when starting monit with -d 0.

From google search results dating back to 2006-2007 it seems monit accepted a poll time of 0 seconds and could run continuously. If this "feature" was removed intentionally, would you consider restoring it

If not, advice on what to change in the source code to compile my own version would be much appreciated as I am not a coder.

Thank you!

The minimum poll time is 1 second. This will be changed in the future when we have the new validation engine where there will be no poll time concept as the check loop will run in realtime.
