if host gets deleted then what happens to the mmonit host list.

If host is deleted as newer host in action, do we have to go to mmonit and delete the host or upon not receiving the heart beat from the client the entry gets deleted automatically?

If the host is stopped and you don't plan to start it again, you need to manually remove the host entry in M/Monit. There is also HTTP-API which you can use to automate the removal using custom script: http://mmonit.com/documentation/http-api/Methods/Admin_Hosts
