extend network statistics

Tildeslash repo owner created an issue

We can extend the network statistics with more details for TCP/UDP/ICMP/RAW/PING and then test for example for number of open connections, detect unusual activity, check for connections from certain client IP/networks, etc. (simple IDS system)

On linux the data are available via /proc/net/.
