monit plex

Hello, i just installed monit like described here: http://www.htpcguides.com/monitor-autorestart-plex-media-server-service-failure/ the goal was to restart pms automatically if not reachable... My problem is that, if i kill the the process to test if it works, I get the error "Execution failed".

please help..

Is monit running as root or as some other user?

Does the "start program" work if you run it manually?

Please run monit in debug mode and check output:

monit -vI

Please use the mailing list or stack overflow for support questions. This seems like a configure issue, for instance the reason mail was not sent is likely because login information to gmail was not set.
