subprocess monitoring?

Currently it's not possible to monitor subprocesses of a multi-process application. For example, having a nginx service with 20 workers, if one of these workers leaks memory -- I can only set alert/action for the master nginx process, but not for the runaway child process. It would be nice to be able to monitor subprocesses individually
