Unable to complete monit installation - missing conf file

I have downloaded monit-5.19.0-linux-x64.tar.gz and am following the install instructions on this page: https://mmonit.com/wiki/Monit/Installation
When I execute ./configure after cd'ing into monit-5.19.0, I get this error and am unable to complete the installation: ./configure: No such file or directory

The instructions on https://mmonit.com/wiki/Monit/Installation are related for installation from source code only (monit-5.19.0.tar.gz).
There are also pre-compiled binaries (like the one you downloaded: monit-5.19.0-linux-x64.tar.gz), which you can just extract and run - no need to compile.
Monit is also part of almost all linux distributions, so you can install it using your linux distribution's monit package.
