Monitoring Logs and sending matched lines

Hey There,

I've been tasked with finding a tool that will monitor a syslog type log file, match regex and then send the matching lines by email (this may expand to other actions later) and I think monit can do at least the first part but i'm having issues finding a way to include the log line content. swatch/swatchdog were eliminated for similar reasons.

The matching content is part of the event description. If you're using old monit (check version with monit -V), please upgrade, the latest version is monit 5.20.0.
