Add ability to attach (last N lines of ) log files to alert messages
I monitor a bunch of services. Sometimes things go wrong with a service, and it won't (re-)start. Usually when this happens there's very useful information in that service's log files (some have multiple, long story).
It would be great to be able to have monit include (the last N lines of) said logfiles as attachments (I'm ok with inline as well) to the alert messages, as it would enable understanding of the root cause for the failure more quickly. Otherwise I have to dig up the precise server and then log into it and manually dig out the log file
(yes, we should have centralized logging, but we don't, and I'd still have to find the right log file instead of defining that once and for all and have monit serve up precisely the information needed to resolve the issue)
