5.23.0 ping will delay monitor at my CentOS7.

Thanks to all developer. Monit is a greate tool for me.

i use monit to monitor network connection for a while.

recent I test new version 5.23.0 but seems some issue with icmp.

1.poll time is 30 seconds. 2.icmp echo with timeout 100 seconds.

daemon works when everything is fine. but when I test some ping failed, daemon will hang after 1 minutes ( 100 s ? ). All test after this icmp test will delay either.
changed to new command "ping" get the same result.

Does my config 100 seconds is the same as 100 seconds ( 1.6 minutes !) in real world ? One test item failed will delay other test items behind it.

My config works for version 5.16 and i changed to old version now.

Any advise or correct my mis-understand for ver 5.16 will be appreciate.
