- changed status to invalid
monit 5.23 ignores -c option says can't find control
Issue #679
invalid
checked src doesn't appear that you are checking -c path before throwing error. could be wrong, but am trying to install multiple instances per faq and it just doesn't appear to do anything with monit -c /some/nonstandard/path/monitrc
+1 on cpu calc fixes. kinda cranky :)

We're using the '-c <path>' option very often for testing various configurations - works fine.
Monit reads the -c options value and sets the control file path: https://bitbucket.org/tildeslash/monit/src/8770d64ab83e9a74dce887ed09f4b60b204be43a/src/monit.c?at=master&fileviewer=file-view-default#monit.c-632
