Monit does not support env variables in
monitrc
. For security reasons it might be a good thing and require absolute paths as Monit often runs as root. However for convenience I see the appeal. - Log in to comment
This topic is interesting to me too.
Are you running monit from commandline or as a daemon ? Which linux distro and which system-init are you using ?
