execute an "exec" action after monit send an "alert", how to do?

What is the syntax for checking when the monit sends an alert, I need to run a script using the "exec" action every time an alert is triggered by the monit. How can I do this?

the alert is implicit action - even if you'll set the action just to "exec", then monit will send alert as well.
