Modify alert (mails or eventque) to log in syslog

Hello,

I want to integrate monit in my board to monitor some processes and other stuffs. It seems pretty awesome and easy to configure.

As my board will be mainly offline, I would like to log the history of the monitored "errors".

I have thought to call a logger script instead of calling alert but it seems a little overkill to me.

Is there an another way to make "alert" in a log file and/or syslog ? Maybe overwrite the alert configuration ?

you can enable the log to syslog this way:

set logfile syslog
