Monit storing the option selected from web UI even if its not present in monitrc, how it work?

Monit seems to store persistently the choice done via its web page about enable/disable of monitoring configuration. It is not stored in the monitrc file, where is it stored

Hello bharati,
the monitor use the following configuration
.monitrc or monitrc

And some files are created by the monitor at startup
.monit.id
.monit.pid
.monit.state

The given states are stored in the .monit.state file.

You will find the files created by the monitor in the home folder of the user used by the monitor (in the root home folder for example).
