Unable to use the app

I recently downloaded Monit on my mac os from the app store and paid for it. however the app doesn’t open up, doesn’t show under notifications and unable use it t all.

I’m sorry, the Monit Widget does not work on Big Sur yet. Unfortunately the MacAppStore does not allow us to say that an app only works up-until macOS Catalina. It is stated in the app description, but it’s easy to miss. Please ask Apple for a refund; https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084

We are working on an update though, but Apple has basically rendered Widgets unusable with Big Sur so it is complex. More here https://twitter.com/tildeslash_/status/1327243880539033600
