Rebalance ranged weapons in Europe and Asia

LockeLamora >> November 13 - 20:46 Currently the ranged weapons in Europe and Asia are very weird in their progression. As far as I know everyone appreciates the T2 (Bow/Hankyu) and T7 (Arquebus/Daikyu) weapons + possibly the T6 (Longbow/Recurve Bow), but the intermediate ranged weapons (Crossbow, Repeating Crossbow) are godawful and I would never use them myself.

I'll show the current stats of the Asian weapons (excl. the special Jang Chang) here. Keep in mind that with 100% RACC RSTR is effectively worth 2x its value in HP - this is helpful when comparing ranged weapons to armors, shields and helmets.

lvl weight RSTR RSTR/Weight Shuriken 1 1 12 12 Hankyu 4 2 30 15 Crossbow 11 4 40 10 Repeating Crossbow 14 5 45 9 Recurve Bow 16 4 50 12.5 Daikyu 18 7 90 12.86

Notice the sharp drop in effectiveness after the Hankyu? The value of RSTR is effectively reduced by 1/3 and even 2/5, until the Recurve Bow brings it back to a reasonable amount. The intermediate ranged weapons in Europe and Asia are just that inefficient - you'd be much better off getting more hp for your weight, since you'll probably have prioritized damage anyway.

I'd suggest the following changes to the problematic weapons:

lvl weight RSTR RSTR/Weight Crossbow 11 3 40 13.33 Repeating Crossbow 14 4 50 12.5 Recurve Bow 16 5 65 13

Recurve bow isn't in a bad spot by itself, but has to be changed because of the others being changed. Now, admittedly, I'm not very sure about the exact stats - it might be better to re-balance them another way, I just want them to be looked at to make hero itemization more interesting.

Cheers!

LockeLamora >> November 13 - 20:55 Since my formatting got messed up, I'll emphasize my suggested stats here:

    Crossbow Weight 3, RSTR 40, RSTR/Weight 13.33 Repeating Crossbow Weight 4, RSTR 50, RSTR/Weight 12.5 Recurve Bow Weight 5, RSTR 65, RSTR/Weight 13.

Possibly the RSTR on these should be even bigger, +5 for each.
