Random Joining HT's and Suicide

I can currently claim 2 HT's. One is from the reparations being paid for previous joining issues. However, the origin of the other is questionable.

I random joined a country (Chalu, if it matters) but decided I did not want to play there. I suicided out and joined a different country (Tangut). However, I believe I have retained the HT from the random joining.

If this is not how the mechanic is intended to operate, it is a potential exploit to undermine the random joining feature.
