Can't seem to hire any soldiers even tho' I have gold and auth to spare... my army is already wrecked; if i can't hire more units, i'm stuffed

I think currently when soldiers die - you need to go to encampment page so that your authority reload and you buy units after that in the barracks

Currently having the same issue. First it said -46669 authority, then i went to city center and encampment after that it said 234 authority. Got me some gold from merchants tried to hire any unit none of them work. There is no notification at the top

A small update I was able to buy them on my phone.
