cannot scroll down to last menu items

Issue #125 resolved

If there is many menu items in the left-side menu bar, I cannot scroll down for enough to see (and click) the bottom most entries. In my case, the menu bar is longer than the status page and I can only scroll down as far as the end of the status page, the menu entries that continue past that are inaccessible. K.O.

The left-side menu bar and the main window scroll independently. It's a bit hard to explain, so I made a little movie: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j7n0nbro3dxxe75/scroll.mp4?dl=0

When your cursor is in the main window and you scroll with the mouse wheel, only the main window scrolls and the menu stays in place. If your cursor is on the menu of the left side, only the menu scrolls. I want it like this, because many status pages are long these days. So if you scroll down the status (or any other) page, your menu would disappear to the top. So by scrolling it independently, the menu position stays where you left if, making it easier to select menu items.

Please check yourself if this works for you. People who do not have a scroll wheel on their mouse should buy one, safes lots of time.

the problem I see is slightly different from what you describe.

I cannot scroll the left-side menu all the way to it's bottom, it only scrolls as far as the bottom of the main window, and refuses to scroll past that.

I see this on my home laptop where the display is not as tall as the big monitor I have in the detector lab. There everything fits in without scrolling.

scrolling on the agdaq status page at CERN seems to work okey today - left hand side menu scrolls up and down fully; status page itself scrolls up and down fully. the original bug is probably fixed. K.O.
