reload of "messages" page

on the "messages" page, if select the "chat" or "runlog" sections, pressing the browser "reload" button takes me back to the "midas" section. The name of the selected section should be saved in the URL to survive page reload. As a side benefit, it also becomes book-mark-able and link-able. Right now one cannot link to the (say) "runlog" section of the "messages" page. K.O.
