history plots do not show run markers

the old history plots displayed vertical bars for the run start and stop (green and red colour, respectively) labeled with the run numbers. the new history plots seem to display the markers inconsistently (i.e. I am looking at a plot where they are suddenly missing completely), seem to always have the same colour and are not labeled with the run numbers. K.O.

Actually this only shows up if you go back further in history. So finally I could reproduce and fix it. Please close the issue if it works for you.
