history plot query by run number

Over the years, we had requests to add a new feature to the history plot. Right now we can plot the data for a given range of dates. The request is to plot the data for a given range of runs. K.O.

in the current scheme of things, this will go on the history plot under the “clock” menu, next to “query A->B”, add “query R1->R2”, this should call an RPC to read the start time of R1, end time of R2, then use this times as an “A->B” query. K.O.

to query run start and stop times, I think the existing RPC for reading history of run transitions should be sufficient, no need to add dedicated RPC.

there should be some protection against queries like 0->99999 (plot everything from the beginning of time).

I agree that this wold make sense and the menu location seems right to me R1 → R2
