Actually this is there on purpose. If one pans too much to the right, one needs to be stopped. I see two options: Either the panning “hard stops” at the current time, like hitting a wall, or the pan continues into the future and one sees an empty space. I find the second option more natural, that’s why I programmed it in that way.

it is too easy to pan out into the future and become “lost in space”. we should add a marked for “now” and plot the future in a different colour. K.O.
