history plot switching "group" resets the "panel"

on my favourite plot of 2V voltages, I switch from group “PWBcol0” to “PWBcol1” (and 2, and 3, etc), but the plot does not stay with “v_p2”, it switches to the first panel in the group (“sfp_rx_power”). It would be much better if it stayed with “v_p2”.
