history plot "legend" box is transparent

click on the plot names in the legend box is supposed to select the clicked plot. and it works. unless some other plot happens to be underneath, then the click goes to that plot, not the plot I clicked on. This is the same problem as we had with clicks on the “+” and “-” buttons causing plot selection instead of zoom.

An example, in the legend box, click on plot 4 in the legend box will go to the plots under it.
